MageWorks Download Windows 8

Updated: Mar 22, 2020

About This Game MageWorks is a mage simulation combat and crafting game. Players flip through their spellbooks and use their staff to cast the spells. Travel to distant lands discovering new spells and enemies. Spellbooks can be customized! With a unique bookmarking system, players can bookmark their favorite spells which places that spell into a custom spellbook. Using these bookmarks, players can tune their spellbooks to best fit their play-style and select magic that is suitable for different environment types. Players can also customize their staff! By collecting wood, crystals and flowers in the wild, mages can create ink to draw their designs, carve and shape wood, and grind crystals to create a unique staff. The staff you create can also be 3D printed so you can bring a part of your game into reality! MageWorks is an Early Access title that is constantly evolving and actively integrates player feedback. 1075eedd30 Title: MageWorksGenre: CasualDeveloper:Earthborn Interactive, LLCPublisher:Earthborn Interactive, LLCRelease Date: 28 Mar, 2019 MageWorks Download Windows 8 mageworx advanced product options. mageworx search suite. mageworks review. mageworx geoip. mageworx order management. mageworx download. mageworks vr. mageworx sitemap. mageworx import export. mageworx seo templates. mageworkshop. earthborn interactive mageworx. gameworks vr. mageworx shipping. mageworx seo magento 2. mageworx import. mageworx shipping suite. mageworx product options. mageworx magento. mageworx shipping rules. mageworx book. mageworks_export. mageworx shopify. mageworx search autocomplete. mageworx seo. mageworx support. mageworx order editor I found the lack of instructions frustrating when I first played this game a few days back. But the new version released yesterday is a great improvement. I'm happy I contributed money to this game as the developer is clearly making progress. I look forward to seeing where it goes.. Just finished (hopefully) the tutorial. As soon as you start, you're greeted by a big scroll with a wavy dragon head. It speaks to you for at least a full five minutes, where you aren't allowed to do ANYTHING besides stand and listen. This is continued further when you're told how to play by the bird familiar, with each individual step of doing one small thing being surrounded by about 5-10 minutes of talking and awkward, uncared for jokes. During this tutorial phase, there is NO free-roam, object interaction, or anything besides the tutorial. I spent the first full hour of gameplay listening to that bird talk, and lost all appetite for the game. I may try it again in the future, but for now the controls are terrible and the tutorial completely ruins the game.. Currently lacking in content but certainly an enjoyable game.Pretty casual as said in the description. You teleport around your tower where you can choose different staffs a choose and elemental book for your spellsEach elemental book has a couple different spells, but most are locked. There are 3 different spells you can choose from but you also find 2 more by traveling to different locations. The third location I couldn't find a spell, but the mobs were more aggressive and numbered.I am sure you will also be able to draw your own staff, but haven't figured out how to do that. Also lacking tutorials, but that will probably be fixed in the future. The current small tutorial is in form of a book, so it is easy to add more.Seems like it could be a pleasant relaxed game in the future.. Okay so I just bought this game and when I start the game it crashes every times I restarted it I shut it down I uninstalled it and still it crashes. So I'm giving it a thumbs up, because I don't think it's fair to downvote a game that is open about its issues from the get go. Pretty much I knew what to expect when I bought it.Overall in it's current state as of this review (8/5/2016) it's a neat little tech demo. The spells load quickly and are kind of fun to play with. The graphics need some work. Textures in specific. It's got a very colorful, cartoony, almost Fable look to it, but the textures are some of the lowest I've seen in VR so far.I wouldn't mind an alternate navigation system to the teleport since I don't get the motion sickness issue, but I realize that I'm probably in the minority of players who can wrap their brain and stomach around moving without actually moving. If I could throw the developer some suggestions it would be:* In addition to the custom spellbook, it would be nice to have a carry slot to hold more than one spell book. A belt slot for example like you can find in many other VR games.* In your more aggressive monster levels, work on the AI a bit. I never once felt threatened or at risk of being killed by the orcs that were in the village. * Tighten up the environment textures a bit. They are pretty grainy.Overall: This game was worth my $5 entry fee and I look forward to what the developer has coming next.. Good starting foundation. Enough fun with the spells and limited exploration to warrant the 4.99 buy in and support development price. In my limited playtime so far, I'm a bit put off by the cartoony alien looking monsters. The rest of the game has such a good basic feel I'm not sure why you went with that - I'd much rather see a variety of traditional advasaries.Combat has quite a bit of room to improve, everything is one shot dead - extremely basic combat mechanics. If you are going to include the basic hunter/gatherer premise that would add some value, not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for beyond spells?Overall in July this is a game that I feel is good fun at this price. By December it will need to be expanded on greatly or like many other of these recent early releases I fear it could be lost in the sea of developed upcoming games.. Good starting foundation. Ok, I visited the three locations now. I think it´s a nice concept and it makes fun so far. You can´t expect too much, but the dev is honest and wrote a good description what he is planing here on the store page. Actual status: "Early Access will allow players to hop into the MageWorks world in its current form as a magic playground to casually test spells and explore environments.” If he is honest with one year of development until leaving the Early Access status and if he is using this time good it could get a really great game I think. I liked it more than A Legend of Luca because the environment is really nice and it has some hard to describe fun factor for me. But again, it´s Early Access, you can´t even fight atm with the enemies. The enemies direct outside of the castle are only targets for testing spells. The others in the first place also, in the second place they notice you but are shooting in a different direction and in the third one they come and beat you but they are not making damage. But the fight system is really nice and the spells are cool and well made. Made a lot of fun and I´m really looking forward to play the finished game.Pro -nice environment -nice spells and good targeting -cool concept -it´s hard to descripe, I liked the way it is :-)Contra -short and not much content atm Possible bugs -had some stuttering, but Steam VR was making problems half of the day, so maybe no problem for you -I fallen two times in the floor while teleporting back to castleI will keep it and hope that the dev is nobody that is making cash and then doesn´t deliver more content. If you want to play a game NOW don´t buy it. If you want to support the dev and giving him the possibility to hopefully put more time on it you can give it a try if you ask me.. This is still too rough for me, so I can't recommend it.The concept is nice, and the ideas presented by the developer sound funbut until it gets more fleshed out I don't see myself playing this any more. It's also riddled with bugs and glitches.Highlighted items staying highlighted forever, the pages of my book werestuck far outside of the bindings for a while, switching books didn't work half the timeand the teleporting is very fiddly.I'm also floating 2ft off the ground, which could probably be solved by a room calibration, but isdefinetly a problem with the game itself since my floor is perfectly level in the SteamVR hub aswell as my other VR games.I also disliked the mana mechanic since 99% of the fun is to just mess around with the spells.Given more time and work this can turn into a decent little game, and I'd be happy to come back to it if it does - but for now, it's a no.
