Edit!!!: bug is gone i don´t know why but its doing well at the moment. For the first couple days everything was fine, but it is now unpredictable and just plain bad. It crashes a lot and just does not do what it is suppsoed to consistently. Not worth it, invest in other software.. Stable desktop/gameing recording tool.Put it simple: It works. What's more: 0 corrupted file in my 65 hours recording.Don't know about the streaming part though.. Hey guys!! What's going on with my best program. give me the old version.. A perfect piece of software. FPS info on screen, Video & Audio recording ingame or out and all pretty much costumized. And performance wise, I didnt notice any framedrop when recording. Fraps was just deleted on my HDD, as this will cover and then more.. Time Bought: shortly after releaseMoney Spent: even trade for Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army 2Worth The Price?: NoPosition In Game At Time Of Review: dabbled with it for an hourPlayClaw gives you many more options compared to the FRAPS that I used to use before, and it was super easy to set up the configurations that I wanted as well. Before then, I was using the paid version of FRAPS 3.5.8 with both set at 1680x1050 resolution. Also like FRAPS though, it takes ALOT of hard drive space for the recordings (10min = 18Gbs). The wecam feature and system stats make it better than my FRAPS but I'm going to stay with my OBS/Twitch so I can record long sessions of gameplay and not use up all the space on my hard drive, which better fits my wants and needs.. This is one of the best performing Video capture tools I can find. It has very little impact on performance that I can see and strikes a great balance between feature set and complexity. I've even been using it to capture 3440x1440@60 ultrawide footage with no problems at all. It's also one of the few software that allows you to capture multiple audio streams properly. When I cap my gameplay it's very useful to be able to record game sound, my mic, and comms software seperately. DxTory can do this but it's far more complicated to use and I haven't managed to ever get a smooth capture with it.Disclaimer: I'm only using it to capture with nVidia hardware x264 encoder but the quality is really good with relatively small files. Your milage may vary with other encoders.
